When did you realize there was a need for Livestrong?
From the beginning, I recognized that conventional healthcare often fails to meet the most fundamental human desire—to live a longer, healthier, more fulfilling life. The system simply wasn’t built for individuals who live fast-paced, multifaceted lives across cities and time zones.
When Livestrong was founded, it came from a deeply personal realization: the healthcare experience was losing its heart. The connection between patient and physician—a relationship once built on trust and time—was being reduced to numbers, billing codes, and rushed appointments. Expertise was undervalued, intuition was overlooked, and genuine care was replaced by protocol. It no longer felt human. It no longer felt right.
Livestrong was created to break away from that model and place the focus entirely on the individual. Every choice we make centers on the relationship between a person and their physician—one built on time, trust, and tailored care.
